Notes
Before you begin
How each format is compressed
Lower JPEG and WebP quality settings remove more detail. PNG compression reduces the color palette, which works well for illustrations and diagrams but may cause banding in gradients or photos.
Handling transparent images
PNG and WebP preserve transparency. JPEG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white. Choose PNG or WebP when transparency matters.
Processing many files
Compression runs on your device. Processing 20 images at once can use significant memory and CPU. On older devices or slower phones, add a few images at a time and wait for them to finish before adding more.
If the size does not decrease
Images that have already been optimized may be compressed very little. If compressing the image in the same format causes it to become larger, save the original image as is.

Files are not sent to the server
This image compression tool loads, compresses, previews, and ZIPs JPEG, PNG, and WebP files, all within your browser. It does not use server-side conversion processing and does not send the image content or original file name.

FAQ
FAQ
Are the images uploaded to the server?
No. Compression runs entirely in your browser. Neither the selected images nor the compressed results are sent to the server.
How much will the image quality deteriorate?
Balanced reduces file size while preserving most visual quality, while Smaller File prioritizes the smallest output. Use the before-and-after preview to inspect the result, or choose Custom to adjust quality numerically. PNG compression reduces the color palette, so illustrations and screenshots may show slight color changes.
Can I compress and convert to another format at the same time?
Yes. Choose WebP, JPEG, or PNG as the output format to convert every added image while compressing it. JPEG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
Can I use it with a smartphone?
Yes. The tool works in a mobile browser without installing an app. Mobile and desktop browsers use the same limits for image count and file size.
Can I compress multiple images at once?
Yes. Add up to 20 images at once. Files larger than 20 MB are skipped. Preset and output-format changes apply to every added image.
Can I save it as ZIP?
Yes. After multiple images finish compressing, you can download them together as one ZIP. The ZIP is created in your browser, so the images are not sent to the server.
Can GIF and SVG be compressed?
The tool supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP. GIF and SVG are not supported because animated and vector images require different processing.
