Frequently Asked Questions
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are not supported. Remove the protection and choose the PDF again.
Can I merge only some pages?
Yes. Open “Select a range” for either PDF and enter its first and last page. All pages are used by default.
Are forms and bookmarks preserved?
PDFs containing forms or bookmarks cannot be merged safely. Choose a copy that does not contain those features.
Will the saved PDF be identical to the originals?
Page content is combined without image recompression. Document metadata, attachments, internal links, and other document-level features may not be preserved, so check the saved PDF.
