FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my input sent to a server?

Generation runs in your browser. URLs, Wi-Fi details, and contact data are not sent to a server or stored.

Should I download PNG, SVG, or PDF?

Use SVG when the QR code needs to scale for print or websites, PNG for documents and social posts, and PDF when you want a ready-to-print page.

Will my URL be replaced with a tracking URL?

No. This tool encodes the URL you enter. It does not shorten links, rewrite links, or add analytics parameters.

Can I change the destination later?

No. If you need to change the destination after printing, create a redirect URL that you control and encode that URL.

What if the Wi-Fi QR code does not scan?

Reader apps vary. Use WPA/WPA2 with a valid SSID and password, then test the code on a real device before printing it.
